About the Event
The World Gravity Sports Federation is proud to launch its first ever Rider Development Day – giving downhill and gravity sports athletes the chance to test and refine their aerodynamics in a world-class wind tunnel facility at Silverstone. This is the same technology used by motorsport and cycling’s elite — now available to our riders for the first time.
What’s Included
At least two wind tunnel sessions per rider
Baseline run plus comparisons for tuck, helmets, leathers, fairings & kit
Real-time aerodynamic data (drag, surface area, downforce)
Side-by-side photos & videos of each test run
Electronic copies of all your results and media
Cost • WGSF Members: £299 • Non-Members: £350
How to Register
• Registration opens 20th August 2025 here on the WGSF website.
• Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
• Once you’ve registered, you’ll be sent a Google Form to confirm the equipment and positions you’d like to test.
• Registration will close once all 15 spots are filled.
• Only Full Memberships will get the discount.
